The shadows on the front, left block of ice are waaaay too desaturated.
This is ussualy my problem too and I try to improve now (ya, i'm still on an intermediate level, but it's good practice to try to spot the errors in images ). Fact is that as close as you get to the eye, the colors need to get more and more saturated + contrasted, for proper depth. Right now that block of ice looks like a flat desaturated 2d photo. No depth, no volume.
Also, minor lightning issue in the foreground, especially on those constructions.
Plus, you've alternated clean rock blocks with sharped edged ice blocks...you will never see that in nature. there's gotta be a transition.
Apart from that I don't like the composition but hey, it's your art and your message

I like your 3D assets, of the generator looking devices, and the world of the background. The iceberg mountains look really well done. It's just the bottom right hand corner starts to break down the illusion a bit.
Around the first ice-cluster and what looks like snow going into the water, it gets fuzzy and blurred. Maybe the iceberg could have a reflection too? It looks like it's missing something. What's there now looks like a shadow, but the light source doesn't justify the shadow.
I could just be out of my mind, seeing as how you know more about it than I do, and it was in D'Artiste.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
